Overview

For this branding project, I partnered with Edlen & Co. to create a visual identity for a new apartment complex that blends modernity with the natural landscape of Lake Coeur d'Alene. The branding needed to evoke a sense of understated elegance—clean lines and dark, bold colors—while also reflecting the coziness and warmth that would make residents feel at home. We aimed for a Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic, emphasizing simple but impactful details in both the interior and exterior of the buildings. The apartments were designed to integrate with the lake, fostering a connection between the natural surroundings and the living spaces.

Our goal was to make the complex feel like a backdrop to the active lifestyle it supports. The branding captures this by emphasizing both form and function: tenants are encouraged to take advantage of the outdoor amenities, while the design of the branding invites a refined and intentional lifestyle. The messaging we crafted was built around the idea that this complex isn’t just a place to live—it’s a place that adds to the community, shaping the neighborhood and encouraging engagement with the lake. The final result is a cohesive, contemporary brand that reflects the vision of creating a sense of home while celebrating the unique beauty of its location.
